Marketing Leeds is the city’s destination marketing agency which aims to raise the regional, national and international profile of Leeds, as a vibrant, dynamic, internationally competitive city region and as the gateway to Yorkshire and the UK. It is a commercially orientated, dynamic organisation created from a powerful partnership between the public and private sectors, that works in partnership with existing organisations wherever possible, collaborating to create the greatest impact on the widest audience, ensuring that external perceptions reflect the high quality of the city’s and region’s offer.

City Centre Management

City Centre Management are a team within the Economic Development Department of Leeds City Council. The work of the team is to promote and sustain the city centre. The group work to make Leeds city centre the first destination of choice in which to work, shop, visit, invest and live. Their vision is to deliver a welcoming, cultural city centre that is a well-connected, liveable, legible and walkable quality environment for residents and visitors alike.  As well as providing business support and enhancing the experience of the city centre by improving navigation and also implementing a programme of city centre refurbishment, City Centre Management also undertakes promotional activity in the form of city festivals such as Leeds Shopping Week to raise awareness of and attract footfall into the city centre to assist Leeds city centre businesses achieve economic gain.
